Mumbai: Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar will be honoured with Raj Kapoor Smriti Award from Maharashtra state government for his contribution to Indian cinema. Bhandarkar, 45 -- known for his films like 'Chandni Bar', 'Page 3', 'Fashion' -- took to Twitter to announce the same.
"Thank you to each one of you for the congratulatory messages you sent. I accept this Maharashtra State honour bestowed on me, in all humility," Bhandarkar tweeted.
