Chandrababu Naidu to focus on start-ups

Hyderabad: The AP government would focus exclusively on startups in electronics and IT space in the next few years, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said on Monday.

“A small city like Tel Aviv stands second only to Silicon Valley in degree of innovation. We, too, can create innovation-driven cities given the abundant talent and entrepreneurship we have in AP,” he said.

He said start-ups will get a major boost in the upcoming innovation policy, with a focus on firms using social media, mobile, analytics and cloud and Internet of Things technology.
