Police officers spruce up school in Combatore
CSI school on Variety Hall road was founded in 1831
Coimbatore: Coimbatore city traffic police spruced up and whitewashed the classrooms of the oldest school in Coimbatore on Saturday.
The CSI school on Variety Hall road was founded in 1831. Wearing masks, a group of 15 policemen, led by deputy commissioner of police T.K. Rajasekaran and assistant commissioner of police Raj Kanna, gave a coat of paint for the classrooms, meeting hall and the restrooms of the CSI primary school.
Speaking to Deecan Chronicle, Mr Raj Kanna said that as part of community service, the police personnel had cleaned up and whitewashed the school campus.
