MET officials said that rain or thundershowers are likely to occur in next 24 hours

Visakhapatnam: The upper air cyclonic circulation over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbouring areas continues. Under its influence, a low-pressure area is likely to form over the next 24 hours.
The Indian Meteorological Department predicts that light to moderate thundershowers may occur at a few places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana.
Rain lashed isolated places in coastal AP, Rayalaseema and Telangana in the last 24 hours. Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal, Nizamabad, Vizianagaram, Nellore and Chittoor districts received rainfall.
