Raipur: A woman who “played” victim of rape has been found to be involved in filicide. The horrific incident of brutal murder of two minors allegedly by their own mother in association with latter’s paramour has come to light when Chhattisgarh police cracked a “rape” case in Jashpur on Friday.
“The accused, alias Tasleema Khan, 22, was arrested on charges of killing her two kids with the help of her lover Amrit, 30, on June 27 to clear their way for a new conjugal life”, police said on Saturday.
According to him, Tasleema fell in love with Amrit after her husband Rabool Ansari landed was jailed a few months ago.
The two lovers took the kids for “outing” on June 27 and strangulated them to death. They then had fled to Delhi. The duo returned to Jashpur a week later. However, Manju lodged a FIR against her paramour charging him of rape.
