A lawyer has moved court over ‘obscene’ film poster

Mumbai: A lawyer on Saturday moved court against Bollywood star Aamir Khan and a hindi daily for publishing an obscene poster of his upcoming movie 'PK'. Manoj Kumar, an advocate, alleged that the film's poster published today would incite "sexual violence" and encourage "obscenity".

The case has been filed in the court of additional city magistrate VII under section 292 of the IPC (Indian Penal Code), which deals with obscenity. August 7 has been set as the next date of hearing.

The first look poster of the Rajkumar Hirani directorial venture was released on Thursday. The film starring Aamir Khan along with Anushka Sharma and Sushant Singh Rajput is set to release on December 19, during Christmas this year. But the first look is already creating a lot of buzz.
