RTC bus kills three on highway
RTC luxury bus crashed into rear of the vehicle they were travelling in
KARIMNAGAR: Three businessmen died after an RTC bus crashed into a four-wheeler they were travelling in near Rajiv Rahadari in Thotapalli village, Bejjanki mandal, on Wednesday night. Three of their friends sustained injuries in the accident.
The deceased were identified as Jayanth Kumar, 30, a native of Sircilla, Sridhar Goud, 32, and Arey Ramesh, 36, from Gandhinagar in Godavarikhani. All three of them were partners in Mee Seva services in their respective towns
An RTC luxury bus crashed into rear of the vehicle they were travelling in. Jayanth and Sridhar died on the spot. They were returning from Hyderabad after meeting IT minister K. Taraka Rama Rao regarding some problems pertaining to their Mee Seva centres, said Bejjanki sub-inspector U. Upendar Rao.
Ramesh succumbed to injuries while being treated at a hospital in Karimnagar. Three others suffered multiple fractures and their condition is said to be stable.
Based on a complaint by the relatives of the victims, the police registered a case against the driver of the bus under Section 304 A (negligent or rash act causing death) of the IPC. The police is investigating
