Congress’ Haryana woe continues

Speculation is rife that Haryana minister Kiran Chaudhary may also quit

New Delhi: More trouble and dissident activities continued to plague the Congress in Haryana.

After power minister Ajay Singh Yadav, and an influential Ahir leader from Rewari, resigned on Tuesday, the party’s Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh met BJP president Amit Shah, clearly indicating that CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s problems won’t end anytime soon.

Ajay Singh Yadav, who had resigned challenging the CM’s leadership, had remarked, “The party has failed to learn any lessons from the Lok Sabha debacle.”

Speculation is also rife that another Haryana minister, Kiran Chaudhary, may also quit. Former Union minister Kumari Selja attacked Mr Hooda on Wednesday, saying it was the CM’s responsibility to sort out any problems in his government.
