SP MP Ramgopal Yadav had to be hospitalised after eating 'khichdi' from the canteen

New Delhi: The Rajya Sabha MPs on Wednesday complained of poor food being served to them in the Parliament canteen.
They raised the issue after SP MP Ramgopal Yadav had fallen sick after eating “khichadi” from the canteen.
Mr Yadav had to be admitted in the AIIMS.
Raising the issue, the JD(U) MP K.C. Tyagi said members were falling sick after consuming food from the Parliament canteen.
He claimed that MP Jaya Bachchan had been the latest victim.
Mrs Bachchan said it was a fact that she had to suffer after she ate in the Parliament canteen when the House was sitting late.
