Hyderabad: The police has arrested a woman and her lover for killing her four-year-old daughter at Narketpally. The woman was having an extramarital affair and she found it difficult to continue her relationship with the girl around.
V. Chandrakala, 21, was married to V. Hanumantha, 40, a labourer about eight years ago, and the couple has two kids. The elder one was a girl named Krishnaveni, 4. The family was earlier staying at Peddavuru and Chandrakala had an affair with one Ramvath Venkati, 23.
Recently Hanumanthu shifted to Narketpally. After that Chandrakala found it difficult to meet Venkati. On Friday, Venkati asked Chandra-kala to kill Krishnaveni. Chandrakala took the child out, and murdered her. “She took her out, and slit her throat. She claimed the child was murdered by unidentified people,” said SI D. Pranith Kumar.
Chandrakala was arrested and she confessed the crime. Venkati was also arrested, and both were remanded on Wednesday.
