Bengaluru: A 36-year-old woman was molested by a 54-year-old man in Rajagopalnagar police station limits on Wednesday afternoon.
Police said the accused who has been identified as Lakappa, had befriended the victim who works in a garment factory.
He allegedly promised the to help the victim avail a loan. On Wednesday afternoon, however, Lakappa allegedly molested her and the victim raised an alarm. This alerted the public who caught hold of the accused and handed him over to the police. Rajagopalanagar police have booked Lakappa under Section 354.
