Hyderabad: Mytrah, one of the largest independent power producers in India, said on Wednesday that its has tied up with Startup Village, Indian Angel Network and Villgro to promote startup enterprises.
“Partnering with the incubators has further strengthened the purpose of our initiative to encourage the entrepreneurial stint in every common man,” said Ravi Kailas, chairman and CEO, Mytrah.
Startup Village comes in as an ecosystem partner while Indian Angel Network is the Angel & Incubation Partner. Villgro will be the Social Enterprise and Investment Partner and Google Cloud platform will help by providing Cloud credits worth $10,000. The partnership with incubators will build and nurture the entrepreneurial ecosystem in India.
The competition invites best minds from across the globe to present their entrepreneurial idea. The best idea will be provided with a seed fund of $100,000 to set up their dream enterprise. The winners will be announced on August 30, 2014.
Mytrah opened the competition in April this year where the participants were asked to harness their lateral thinking, creativity and channelise energies into drafting a business plan around their idea.
