The man jumped from the departure ramp before boarding his flight

Hyderabad: A passenger allegedly attempted suicide by leaping from the departure ramp at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Tuesday night.
The man identified as Ravi Kumar, 30, is a Chennai native and was about to board a Chennai bound Indigo flight.
He sustained injuries and was rushed to the hospital.
According to the police, it was around 9.30 pm, Ravi Kumar who was in an inebriated condition apparently leaped from the departure ramp which is about 10 feet high.
He came to the city with about Rs 1.5 lakhs in the afternoon and had about Rs 15,000 balance with him. Ravi’s condition is stable
Police are yet to register a case.
