Glasgow: Jitu Rai, Gagan Narang and Gurpal Singh keep India's flag flying high in shooting by adding 3 more medals to India's medal tally on Monday. Indian shooters will once again be in action today and it won’t be too surprising if they add a few more medals to India’s medal tally.

India’s Olympic silver medallist Sushil Kumar will also be involved in men's Freestyle 74kg in the round of 16 and so would be the Indian boxers.
Along with boxing, wrestling, shooting and badminton, India will also be involved in hockey, squash, lawn bowls, and weightlifting. Indian shuttlers (men’s) will also be in action.
Weightlifting: With the gold medalist Nigerian Chika Amalaha failing dope test, India's Santoshi Matsa, moved up to win silver in the women's 53 kg category. Swati Singh who earlier finished fourth has now the bronze medalist in the same category.

Gagan Narang and Sanjeev Rajput have kept alive India's hopes to clinch more medals as they finished 2nd & 4th in 50m rifle 3 position men's qualification. Harpreet Singh finished fourth in the 25m rapid fire pistol men's qualification. But India's London Olympics silver medalist Vijay Kumar failed to cross the qualification round hurdle as he finished 8th.
Wrestling: THREE more medals guaranteed! Rajeev Tomar entered the final of the 125kg wrestling category and Sushil Kumar sealed the final berth in the 74kg category. Amit Kumar defeated Pakistan's Azhar Hussain to reach the finals in the 57kg category. Their entry in the finals in the respective category has sealed three more medals for India.
Sushil Kumar reached the semis of the men's freestyle wrestling 74kg quarters. In first match, he beat Australia's J Lawrence and then went on to beat Kushan Sandrage of Sri Lanka in the quarter-finals to reach semi-finals. Rajeev Tomar too entered the semi-finals of the men's freestyle 125kg category.
Amit Kumar defeated Pakistan's Azhar Hussain to reach the finals in the 57kg category.
