Two Andhra Pradesh engineers kidnapped in Nagaland
While Pratish Chandra is from Vijayawada, Raghu is from Nuzivid
Hyderabad: Two engineers from Andhra Pradesh have been kidnapped in Dimapur in Nagaland, according to television reports.
The two men, Pratish Chandra from Vijayawada and Raghu from Nuzivid, were allegedly taken away on Sunday, by suspected militants. According to reports, a third man escaped.
Pratish was supposed to take a train back home on Sunday to see off his brother, who was going to the US.
There are reports that the kidnappers have demanded a ransom of Rs. 20 crore.
Kambhampati Rammohan, a TDP MP told teh news channel he had spoken to the Dimapur Superintendent of Police and also the Nagaland government, seeking their help in the matter.
