Bollywood: Hit Singham pair Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty share quite the warm friendship with actor Suriya, who featured in the original Tamil version. Ajay and Rohit have invited the superstar from the South for a special screening of Singham 2 that’s being held in Mumbai.
Apparently, the guest list for the screening includes the who’s who of Bollywood, and Ajay and Rohit want to ensure that Suriya, the original Singham star, is present at the occasion.
“Ajay has tremendous respect for Suriya. Since the making of Rohit’s Singham, the two stars have been in touch. Ajay was invited for the screening of Suriya’s film recently and this time around, he wants to play the host,” said an aide close to Ajay Devgn.
In June, Ajay and Rohit were supposed to attend the music launch for Suriya’s sequel to Singham in Chennai, but couldn’t as their chartered plane ran into rough weather.
