The delegation was led by J Satyanarayana, IT advisor to the government of Andhra Pradesh and comprised Ajay Sawhney, principal secretary to Chief Minister; Sanjay Jaju, IAS, Secretary, ITE&C; and Phani Chandra, Consultant, E&Y. The officials held a brief discussion with the top officials at Infopark, including CEO Hrishikesh Nair, on the growth of the IT sector, the new IT policy and the changing investment and business environment in Kerala.

“This indeed is a big recognition for Kerala’s IT policy and the current development model,” said Mr Hrishikesh Nair. “The delegation lauded the growth of Infopark and the radical change in the IT investment climate in the state during the past ten years,” he added.

Kerala’s IT parks have been developed on a hub and spoke model. Infopark, Technopark and Cyberpark are the three IT hubs while its satellite centres are spread across various districts in the state. Kerala’s new IT policy aims to develop the state as the most preferred IT/ITES investment destination in India.
