Unsure about seriousness of my daughter’s proposal to Virat Kohli: Danielle Wyatt’s father
Mumbai: Danielle Wyatt, the 22-year-old England's woman cricketer, who had proposed to marry India's Virat Kohli three months ago, was present at Trent Bridge in Nottingham to witness the first Test match between England and visiting India.
This was revealed by her father Steve Wyatt.
Speaking exclusively over his mobile from England, he said, "Yes, my daughter did go to watch the first Test match and she may witness a few more India games."
In April this year, Danielle Wyatt, the England woman all-rounder, during ICC World Twenty 20, had proposed (via twitter) to Virat Kohli saying,
Kholi marry me!!!

"I am aware about my daughter's proposal to Kohli (he pronounced it correctly). I can't say whether it was a serious offer, but can say that she is her fan and both are friends."
"I don't involve in this but only look after my daughter's cricketing career", he added.
Incidentally, Steve Wyatt is not only Danielle's father but also acts as her manager.
""It is not the right age for Virat to marry now," Virat's mother, Saroj Kohli had said then. "We can't think of his marriage for another 4-5 years. He has 'just started' playing cricket. He has to concentrate on his batting and career ahead," she had said.
In both the Test matches in India's ongoing tour of England, Kohli has scored miserably.
