Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police on Thursday busted a sex racket in Ohri’s (Ohri’s Banjara) road number 12, Banjara Hills and rescued a Mumbai-based model from prostitution. They also arrested two organisers.
The 24-year-old woman claims to be an artiste from Mumbai. The arrested organisers are Ankit Kumar, 25, a native of Uttar Pradesh and Pappu Kumar, 25, a native of Bihar. Police said that when they raided the hotel, they found the organisers organising prostitution. They were immediately taken into custody and shifted to the police station.
“They had brought her to the city for prostitution. However, we nabbed them before that,” said Mr Ashok, sub-inspector Banjara Hills. Cops said there were no customers, and the arrested men were first time offenders. A case was registered. The victim was sent to a rescue home, and the arrested men to judicial custody.
