Bengaluru rape case: Clincher? blood-stained paper, tampered record
Bengaluru: A blood-stained piece of paper reportedly found lying inside the sealed gym room on the third floor of the Vibgyor School, where the six-year-old girl was allegedly raped on July 2 and a school medical record book in which the only entry made on July 1, over which a whitener has been used, are the two crucial pieces of evidence with the Child Welfare Committee-II in the alleged Vibgyor school rape case.
A five-member CWC team visited the School on July 19 and was reportedly literally thrown out by the staff members till they introduced themselves and were taken to the alleged scene of crime - the gym room on the third floor, sealed by the police. "The room was locked but we saw a blood-stained paper lying inside it. We checked the medical register in which the names of the children are written, who fall ill in school and are given first aid. Between June 30 and July 4 the register was blank except for that one entry on July 1, tampered with a whitener. We could not make out the name of the child," charged a CWC member, who said the social worker in the special juvenile protection unit told them the victim was given medical treatment in the school after she complained about bleeding.
“The school staff maintained no such incident had taken place and that the child was never given any medical treatment at school. If what they are saying is true then why did they tamper with that one entry on July 1 in the medical register?,” the member asked.
