Low pressure depression moves away from Telangana

Visakhapatnam: A low pressure area concentrated into a depression and lay over northeastern parts of Odisha and adjoining areas of Gangetic West Bengal on Monday. It is expected that the weather system will move towards the northwest, away from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Met officials said under the impact of the depression, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam in north coastal Andhra, along with five districts of Telangana, Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam will experience isolated heavy rainfall over the next 24 hours. While this is so, heavy rain lashed Hyderabad on Monday, a Bonalu holiday.
