It's official: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to star in Ayan Mukerji's next

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been paired together for the first time in Ayan Mukerji's next. The film will be produced by Dharma Productions and will release on December 23, 2016. Ayan has already made 2 films with this banner, Wake Up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, both starring Ranbir Kapoor.

In the past, Ranbir has often praised about Alia Bhatt and her choices of films. Very recently, Alia was quoted saying, " I remember the first time I spoke to Ranbir, you called him up when Rockstar released and you said, here talk to Ranbir tell him how much you love him. And I just spoke so much rubbish, I was just talking non-stop. But later I have hung out with Ranbir and I still think he is really adorable and I still want to marry him."

AYAN MUKERJI's next for Dharma productions is slated to begin mid next year and release December 23rd,2016. RANBIR KAPOOR and ALIA BHATT...

The film will have a lot of VFX and Ayan is in talks with Red Chillies to come on board. Ranbir will have special powers and its on the lines of a superhero film.
