Chennai: In an age when celebrities play hide-and-seek on social media about their relationships, Ileana D’Cruz appears a fresh change.
Following example of actress Amala Paul, who was open about her relationship with A.L. Vijay, Ileana went a step ahead and confessed her love on social media. The actress, who is in a relationship with Australian photographer Andrew Kneebone, shared some cutesy pictures of them on her Facebook page. Both of them tweeted about how they were lucky to have each other and who’s won a bigger ‘lottery’!
Rumours were rife about their relationship for quite some time, and the actress had managed to keep it under the wraps. However, this time she wasn’t shy about letting the world know that she is ‘officially’ dating the Australian lensman.
This has raised many eyebrows of her fans and followers on Twitter, as she had earlier kept mum on dating Andrew in her recent interviews. On Andrew’s birthday, Ileana tweeted, “Happy Birthday my darling @andrewkneebone!! Wish I cld be there right now!! I hope you have the loveliest year ahead”.
What’s interesting is that Andrew, a photographer and guitarist, who will be sharing screen space with the actress in an upcoming Bollywood flick, Happy Ending, also posted on his Twitter page, “Ladies love a man who can make a decent Latte, cook a meal and do single arm push-ups”. To all of our surprise, Ileana’s reply was, “Ha ha ha, is it any wonder why I love you?”. Andrew responded, “When you said you did, I won life’s lottery. I love you.” One hopes that this happy couple too head down the altar soon.
