Bhushan Kumar is Bollywood’s 'talent-scout-in-chief'
Mumbai: With the flying start that 'Hate Story 2' has got off to, it has now been proven beyond doubt that a very capable new order (of actors and directors) is firmly being set up by Bhushan Kumar.
This year has been great for Bhushan’s production house as it has given biggest hits like 'Yaariyan', 'Bhoothnath Returns', 'Hate Story 2' and 'Aashiqui 2' (which released last year and was a blockbuster hit).
'Yaariyan' and 'Hate Story 2' starred all new comers while Aashiqui 2 was made with not-so-established stars. Because of its marketing gimmicks and peppy/ catchy songs, these flicks were very much liked by the youngsters and gave him the tag of Bollywood's talent scout-in-chief.
Shraddha Kapoor who entered the 100 crore club with 'Aashiqui 2' says, "T Series gave me the opportunity, a film which was bound to enter people's hearts. I keep my fingers crossed to get such a film again. It changed my life. It is the best feeling when people believe in your talent and Bhushanji believed in me. It means the world to me."
Aditya roy Kapoor also said, "It was Bhushan Sir's faith and trust for casting new talent and I really want to thank him from the bottom of my heart. Aashiqui 2 has been a life changing experience for me and I look forward for more such associations."
The music doyenne believes in experimenting, he always gives chances to new talents to show their potential to the whole world. He has encouraged new filmmakers like Divya Kumar, Nitesh Tiwari and Vishal Pandya, (they have directed his movies).
T-Series is all geared up with its forthcoming films like 'Creature 3D', 'All is Well', 'Baby', 'Love Affair' and 'Leela'.
Bhushan Kumar said, “Today, things are changing and the audience has realized that fresh talent needs to be brought in and they need to accept more people. They are more receptive to new comers. With new faces, the audience is also accepting new stories, different music, and we are happy that we are able to live up to their expectations.”
