Raped and pushed into well, rape victim miraculously survives 15-hour ordeal

Bhilwara, Rajasthan: A 17-year old girl was raped and pushed into a well in Bhilwara town of Rajasthan by her neighbour.

The girl was miraculously rescued from the well after 15-hours.

The teenager had gone to a field to work when she was raped by the man, who later pushed her into the well in a bid to kill her.

However, she hung on to a pipe in the well and cried for help even as rain poured the entire night. She was eventually rescued in the morning.

The culprit has been booked for rape and attempt to murder.
