No breakthrough in nunnery rape case
Victim still in state of shock and undergoing treatment
Bengaluru: The police are yet to achieve a breakthrough in the rape of a minor girl who had come to the city for a seminary course. She was drugged and raped in the seminary in Byraweshwaranagar under Hennur police limits on Wednesday. A police officer said the victim's clothes have been sent to Forensic Science Laboratory for tests. The police are also analysing the mobile phone signals from the spot of the crime on that day.
“As the message scribbled on the victim’s leg was in English, we suspected that educated people were behind the crime. Police special teams are working on gathering clues,” said a senior police officer.Another officer said the victim is still being treated in the hospital and is said to be in a state of shock, which is slowing the investigation.
