Ram Charan’s second Hindi film

The actor will be working with Ashutosh Gowarikar in film on Krishnadevaraya

After making his Bollywood debut with Zanjeer, Ram Charan is set for his second Hindi project, may be next year. According to a source close to the actor, Ashutosh Gowarikar will direct Ram Charan after he finishes his current project starring Hrithik Roshan. The source adds that Ram Charan’s film will be based on Krishnadevaraya, the emperor of Vijayanagara.

Stating that Ram Charan is confident that Ashuthosh Gowarikar, the director of hit period films like Lagaan and Jodha Akbar, would handle the subject well, the source adds, “This big budget film may start by the end of next year.” It’s being speculated that this film will release only after the upcoming big budget Telugu period films Baahubali and Rudhramadevi to avoid a clash.
