Court directs to protect petitioner, member of YSRC and 22 ZPTC members

Hyderabad: Justice Ramesh Ranganathan of the Hyderabad High Court on Friday directed the Nellore SP to protect petitioners B. Anil Kumar Reddy, ZPTC member of YSR Congress, and 22 ZPTC members of the district on the way to cast their votes on July 21 for the election to the posts of zilla parishad chairman and vice-chairman.
The judge was dealing with a petition seeking the court to appoint a judicial officer as an observer to oversee the election process.
