The responses for the request that poured in were overwhelming

Mumbai: Nathan Steffel lost his daughter Sophia on July 10, just six weeks after she was born. According to USA Today, the infant died of complications from a hepatic hemangioma, a type of liver tumor. Since the baby was connected to a life-supporting machinery during the span, Steffel did not have pictures of the little one except for ones with tubes and pipes.

Steffe turned to Reddit for help posting, “My daughter passed away after a long battle in the children's hospital. Since she was in the hospital her whole life, we never were able to get a photo without all her tubes. Can someone remove the tubes from this photo?”

With the post, he shared a picture of Sophia.

The responses that poured in were overwhelming. Shortly after share the image, altered photos, sketches with the removed pipes began to come in.

Stunned and filled with gratitude, Steffel quickly responded back. “This is really amazing. Everyone you have made my day. All I wanted was a nice picture. What I received was a lot of love and support from a bunch of strangers,” he replied on Reddit.
