YSR Congress to oppose AP’s plan to acquire private capital land
YSRC requested Naidu to build a capital where at least 50,000 acres of land is available
Hyderabad: Senior YSR Congress leader M.V. Mysoora Reddy dashed off an open letter to the Andhra Pradesh government opposing its plans to buy land from private parties to set up the new capital. He said it would be a big burden and delay the process. He advised Mr Naidu to build a capital in a place where at least 50,000 acres of land was available.
He also requested the TDP government to build the capital at a place that was acceptable and accessible to all regions. He said identifying and developing the capital for a new state was challenging and must be attended to with utmost care.
