Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Thursday declared 78 mandals in five districts as “affected due to heavy rains, floods and hailstorms on account of Cyclone Phailin”. The Cyclone had hit the state between October 21 and October 27, 2013.
These mandals are in addition to the 337 mandals that were already declared as affected.
Of the 78 affected mandals, 39 are in Adilabad, 22 in Nizamabad, seven each in Mahbubnagar and Karimnagar and three in Warangal district of Telangana.
