I will never repeat a mistake that was Humshakals: Saif Ali Khan

Mumbai: After Sajid Khan’s ‘Humshakals’ failed to create magic at the Box Office, Saif Ali Khan expressed his disappointment about the films final outcome in a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror.

The actor said, “The film didn't have a script as such, it was all there in Sajid's mind. I did whatever he asked me to.”

Saif felt like he was trying to be someone completely different from his actual self. And the humour in the film wasn’t the kind he enjoys, however his upcoming film ‘Happy Endings’ (which will also feature Preity Zinta in a cameo role) is closer to the kind of comedy he believes in and is popularly known for.

The actor even said, “The film was very regressive. In fact, while watching it, I asked myself what I was doing in it. I knew I had let my fans down and underestimated their intelligence.”

Saif also made it clear that he will not do a second film with Sajid, after ‘Humshakals’ failed. “I've been introspecting a lot and will never repeat a mistake that was Humshakals,” he said.

Even his wife Kareena was quite disappointed with the film. He said, “She told me that this wasn't what people expected from me. But she kept her opnions to herself and that was sensitive of her.”
