Thundershowers predicted in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana
Visakhapatnam: The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that thundershowers may lash one or two places in coastal Andhra, Rayalaseema as well as Telangana. The low-pressure area over the central parts of north Madhya Pradesh persists, the Indian Meteorological Department said.
The associated upper air cyclonic circulation extends up to 4.5 km above the mean sea level. The upper air cyclonic circulation that was placed over northwest Bay of Bengal and it neighbourhood, between 5.8 km and 7.6 km above the mean sea level, also persists. A fresh low-pressure area too may develop over the northwest Bay of Bengal. Meanwhile, Srikakulam, Khammam, Vizianagaram, Warangal, Adilabad, Mahbubnagar, Nizamabad and Ranga Reddy witnessed rainfall in the past 24 hours.
