Vienna: Iranian diplomat Seyed Abbas Araghchi has posted the picture of US Secretary of State John Kerry and his deputy William Burns on his Instagram account which he took during the nuclear negotiations of the US officials with Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Vienna, reported mashable.com.
Mr Kerry met with Mr Zarif and others as part of the negotiations on the future of Iran’s nuclear programme, which have been ongoing since mid-February. Despite restrictions on social media in Iran, Iranian leaders seem to like its uses. Before the World Cup, Mr Zarif posted a picture of his visit to Iran’s national team training camp on Twitter.
Instagram is one of the last Western social networks still available in Iran. Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have long been banned, although several government officials use the social networks.
