Ajaz Khan of Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi fame is rather disgruntled about his recent appearance on Comedy Nights With Kapil. The actor tells us that he had shot an episode for the show, but the host, Kapil now refuses to air it. Reason? “I played a bank chor (robber) on that episode.
Since he was been ousted from a Yashraj film with the same name (Riteish Deshmukh has been roped in to play the part), he doesn’t want to air the episode. Besides, I may have overshadowed him with my performance and that hasn’t gone down too well with him. He couldn’t tolerate the fact that someone was better than him,” says Ajaz who shot for the episode one-and-a-half month ago.
Has he been following with Kapil after the episode? “Of course I have, but he doesn’t answer any of my calls. His creative director keeps telling me that he’ll get back to me, but he never does. I even tweeted to him, but there’s been no reply. Although he has all the time in the world to respond to KRK,” he says.
Ajaz was also not very pleased about the way Kapil treated his guests on the show. “It was embarrassing to see him make fun of a senior member in the audience and call him bald. It wasn’t even funny. People come from far off places to have a good time; not to be humiliated by him on national television.”
But Kapil’s not the only one who’s made it to Ajaz’s bad books. The actor isn’t on good terms with Gauhar either. The latter, in a recent interview said that she doesn’t know Ajaz. “As long as Gauhar is with Kushal Tandon, she will not know me. Only after problems crop up between them will she remember me. However, I hope the two of them get married soon, have lots of babies and live happily for the rest of their lives,” he adds.
