I have grown as a dancer: Sunny Leone
The 'Pink Lips' girl talks about life, husband Daniel Weber, Bollywood, and more
Mumbai: Since the days of being looked down as a porn star trying to titillate her way into Bollywood, Sunny Leone has come a long way. From Baby Doll topping the charts to Pink Lips becoming a rage (both songs featured Sunny in the video), fans are now seeing a new Sunny, an actress, not a porn star.
She has slimmed down a lot and the offers are pouring in. Chatting with DC, Sunny talks about her Bollywood journey so far.
Dancing was one of the problem areas for Sunny, but she is handling it quite well, as is evident from Pink Lips. “It’s always a challenge for me to dance. But I had a great time with this song. I have grown as a dancer.”
Sunny, who seems to be becoming more beautiful by the day, says that when someone enjoys the job, it shows. “I am enjoying this lovely phase of my life. A blissful married life, a good professional life… What more do I need? Also, I always involve myself in doing my job to the best of my abilities... There is only love, work and peace around me. With everything positive, why will I not enjoy life?” she says.
“I have no specific beauty tips,” she says, adding, “I just eat healthy and like to keep a positive atmosphere around me. At times, if I get some negative vibes from people around me, which I can usually read on their faces, I do not argue or fight. I just move out from there. These things keep me beautiful.”
Sunny, however, does not forget to thank the reality show that got her to Bollywood in the first place. “Right from the beginning people from Bollywood have wanted to cast me in their films. I must, however, thank Bigg Boss that gave me the boost. I also thank Ekta Kapoor for choosing me (in Ragini MMS 2). She is one producer I love to work with as she is very clear in her perception.”
About any difficulties that she might have faced in the industry, Sunny says, “In general, whatever problems everyone faces, like getting a job etc, I too faced. I took all hiccups in my stride. Moreover, I learnt from the mistakes I made and decided never to repeat them. Life is not a bed of roses, all of us need to move ahead, taking all the positivity that we come across, leaving the negative things behind. I always move away from negativity. Also with Daniel, the most understanding husband, I am going through a very enjoyable phase. What more can I ask from God?”
