Lucknow: Eight persons were injured when two groups clashed over a minor dispute at Walipur village in Muzaffarnagar district on Sunday.
The clashes took a communal turn when a bike, driven by one Bunty hit a pedestrian, Aasif. SP (Crime) Rakesh Jolly said that the two groups gathered their supporters at the spot and began attacking each other with weapons.
Police brought the situation under control. Eight persons injured in the clash have been admitted to a hospital.
