Mumbai: With her latest film, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, doing brisk business at the box office, Alia Bhatt has every reason to celebrate.
She plans to celebrate her latest in a string of successes by buying an extravagant gift for her parents, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan. In fact, we hear that the young actress may even be contemplating buying two identical luxury cars for them.
“Like every daughter, I want to do something special for my parents. I’ve yet to make up my mind though (on what that should be),” Alia says. While the 21-year-old makes up her mind, she has also bought a high-end handbag that reportedly had a price tag of Rs 5 lakh.
“It’s a gift to myself. I think I deserve it. After the back-to-back success of my films, I’m in the mood to indulge,” she explains, adding, “I’m not brand conscious but I have to admit that, this time I made an exception.”
