Israel bombs mosque in Gaza
Gaza City: At least four people have been reported killed in a bomb strike on a rehabilitation centre for the disabled in Gaza, medical sources said on Saturday.
Three patients and a nurse were killed in the explosion on Saturday in Jabaliya, according to a report in Al Jazeera. While a report in the BBC said that four others were seriously injured.
Video footage of the aftermath of the attack, obtained by Reuters, showed victims being taken to hospital for injuries including severe burns.
Palestinian authorities said that Israel also bombed a mosque in Gaza but Isarel army said that the mosque housed an arms cache.
According to a report in the New York Times, the aerial photos of the mosque indicated that it was actually harboring a weapons cache.
Israel said preparations are under way for a possible ground incursion in Gaza.
