Staff wants to work from Andhra Pradesh, says N Chandrababu Naidu
Vijayawada: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that the government was seriously considering starting to function from here soon. Speaking at the felicitation organised by APNGOs Association here, Mr Naidu said that a decision on shifting important offices from Hyderabad or work here for some days will be taken soon. He said that some employees were keen on starting work from AP. Travelling 200 km to Hyderabad daily was not feasible, he said.
Presently, the state was facing financial problems he said and requested all to donate at least a brick or equal amount of cash for the new capital. Dy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy said AP people are being treated like Pandavas and added that they had contributed. Dy CM N. China Rajappa, APNGOS Association president P. Ashok Babu and some ministers, legislators and association leaders were present.
