CM asks to implement “slum-less city project” on pilot basis by selecting a slum in city

Hyderabad: Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao said his government is committed to make Hyderabad “a slum-less” and a “clean city” in the next five years. Mr Rao held a meeting with the GHMC officials to discuss the steps that need to be towards achieving this goal.
He asked officials to implement the “slum-less city project” on a pilot basis by selecting a slum in the city and also devise plans to build pucca houses in the identified slums for which the government will provide financial support.
