Bijnor: In a shocking incident, a 35-year-old woman from Uttar Pradesh has said that she lost her child after suffering miscarriage after being beaten up by a police officer during a protest on Saturday.
The woman says she had gone to the police station along with women from her village to protest against the illegal detention of her husband.
According to the woman, cops on duty misbehaved with the women. The situation led to a scuffle and the woman was later admitted to a hospital.
No FIR has been lodged against he officer in question.
