Heavy rains over next 48 hours in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana
Visakhapatnam: The India Meteorological Department said that upper air cyclonic circulation has been formed over west central Bay of Bengal, off the Andhra Pradesh coast.
Under its influence, a low-pressure area may develop in the same area by Friday.
The upper air cyclonic circulation over north-eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh and neighbourhood has merged with this trough.
Weathermen predict heavy rainfall at one or two places in Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari and Krishna of Andhra Pradesh, and Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Ranga Reddy, Hyderabad and Warangal of Telangana, during the next 48 hours.
The South-west monsoon has also been active over Telangana.
Many parts of north Andhra Pradesh received rainfall on Wednesday.
Vizag received around 2 cm rainfall from afternoon.
