Free: Microsoft offers more than 200 eBooks for download

Microsoft had put up a post last year which said it was giving out a plethora of eBooks for free. All the users had to do is download it from their servers with no need of registration or payment of any sorts. An overwhelming response last year has led Microsoft to put up more eBooks online for free.

Senior Sales Excellence Manager at Microsoft, Eric Ligman, posted in his blog about the free giveaways from the tech giant.

“Last summer I put up a post that offered a collection of free Microsoft eBooks across a variety of topics and the response was incredible. Because of the phenomenal response, I followed it up with a second post that contained another set of free eBooks for people to download. After these posts went live, over 1,000,000 free eBooks were downloaded by people around the world,” he said. The website has already marked 3.5 million downloads after the post.
