Rahul Gandhi’s sleeping act in Parliament leaves Twitteratis in splits
New Delhi: Twitter spares none. This time around it has targeted Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi for his sleeping act in the Parliament.
Television footage showed 44-year-old Gandhi yawning and napping even as lawmakers discussed the simmering issue of price rise and inflation.
Even as the Congress is attempting to revive its image after the 2014 poll debacle, such unwarranted controversies are bound to act as a roadblock.
BJP leader Shahnawaaz Hussain tweeted, "Rahul Gandhi was seen sleeping in Parliament during a debate on price rise. That's what the Congress was doing during their 10 yr rule."
Meanwhile, Congress outrightly rejected such claims. Senior NCP leader Praful Patel said, "Just because people close their eyes in Parliament doesn't mean they are sleeping."
Twitter once again showed its humorous side and this is what Twitteratis did:
Rahul gandhi vowed that he wouldn't wake up till seats of congress reduced from 44 to 00.

It is wrong to say that rahul gandhi was sleeping in Parliament. He has a dream for India and he was watching it. What is wrong in that?
