Moto G and Moto X ensured Android L, Moto E unlikely
Android L was announced by Google at the developer conference in San Francisco last month. However, Google’s next version is yet to be named and the tech giant has just codenamed it Android L for now.
The source codes have been handed over to developers to make sure they can update their existing apps and create new ones for the upcoming Android platform, L. A few days ago, Motorola had officially tweeted about the three handsets, Moto G, Moto X and Moto E, getting the Android KitKat 4.4.4 updates in India.
However, unconfirmed information about the Motorola ensuring its customers that Moto G and Moto X will be getting the Android L are making its rounds on the internet. Android Origin has a piece of information by one if its subscribers, that he/she had spoken to Motorola officially and they have confirmed that the two devices, Moto G and Moto X, will receive the Android L update when it rolls out the Google gates. The same source also goes ahead to confirm that the Android L update for the Moto E handset is unlikely since Motorola is not sure as yet.
Presently, it seems very difficult to believe, and pretty much unlikely that Motorola will give out any confirmation or information about the new Android L operating system on their handsets. Since the operating system is still in its final development stages, handset manufacturers would not leak out sensitive information, like this one, on a public chat line.
