UP Assembly adjourned sine die

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Assembly was abruptly adjourned sine die on Monday after the BSP and BJP created noisy scenes over the Moradabad incident and the spiraling prices. The government hurriedly passed 60 budgets in 40 minutes by a voice vote amidst pandemonium and pulled down the curtains on the budget session that had begun on June 19. That the entire sequence of events had been ‘perfectly scripted’ was evident since morning when the ruling Samajwadi Party directed all its ministers and legislators to remain inside the house.
