K Chandrasekhar Rao vision has a slew of new schemes laced with Telangana

Ensuring optimal utilisation of all resources and make Telangana No. 1 state in the country

Hyderabad: Brushing aside criticism over delay in implementing his party’s poll promises, Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced on Monday that the new state of Telangana would soon have new laws, policies, programmes and comprehensive planning from village to the state level with a “Telangana touch” to check corruption.

“Telangana needs to be reinvented and reoriented in the context of the new state and the needs of people. Telangana needs a good brand image. We have to ensure optimal utilisation of all our resources and make it the No. 1 state in the country,” Mr Chandrasekhar Rao said.

Promising to make Hyderabad an international city in the wake of the upcoming ITIR project, he disclosed that apart from Shamshabad, the TRS government was keen on having two more airports for Hyderabad, near Shamirpet, Jawaharnagar and Ghatkesar.
