Court directed Digvijay Singh to file a “proper petition” in MPPEB scam case

Jabalpur : “Courts are not arenas for political wrestling,” Madhya Pradesh HC said on Monday while disposing of a ‘letter petition’ filed by Congress leader Digvijay Singh seeking a CBI probe into the MPPEB scam and directing him to file a “proper petition”.
“Demanding something from the court by writing letter will set a wrong precedent as courts have their own procedures. File a petition as per the legal procedure,” the HC said.
“Either we file a fresh petition or we go into Appeal to Hon SC shall discuss with our Lawyers and decide,” Mr Singh tweeted.
