From making robots to winning gold medals
One of the highlights was the ‘Super bot’ made by 25 students from the college
Hyderabad: The graduation ceremony for students of Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology took place recently. K.T. Rama Rao, minister for IT and panchayat raj, was the chief guest. Ayesha Yasmee, 21, who topped her branch electronics and communication with 92 per cent says, “I joined the college on my mother’s insistence and I am so happy that I did. The past four years have been amazing.” One of the highlights was the ‘Super bot’ made by 25 students from the college. “It took us six months and costs Rs 2 lakh,” says Sanya Nazam, 21. “We made the bot to participate in the Robocon in Pune, where we came fourth,” she says. K.T. Rama Rao, too, was excited to see the bot and insisted on operating it himself.
